The Challenge
HairIsCurly needed a complete e-commerce platform built from scratch for the hair and beauty niche. The goal was to create a content-driven shopping experience targeting women in the US and UK who were tired of generic product recommendations. The site needed to support product listings, affiliate integrations with Amazon, iHerb, and ShareASale, sponsored content placements, and eventually a full dropshipping setup. All while maintaining fast load times and strong SEO foundations from day one.
Our Strategy
We built a fully custom WordPress theme with WooCommerce integration, designed specifically for the beauty and hair care market. Every product page was optimized for conversions with trust badges, detailed descriptions, and ingredient breakdowns. We implemented a content strategy built around expert authors covering topics like curl care routines, product reviews, and hair science. The site architecture was planned around topical clusters to build authority in the hair care niche and rank for high-intent commercial keywords.
